How to get to Kalavrita Ski Resort?
The ski resort is 203 km away from Athens via the Corinth - Patras National Road. The National Road has been upgraded with bars in the middle and tunnels and is not the mess it once was. After Akrata there is a sign that notifies you to turn right for Kalavrita - Diakopto.
Approaching the ski resort
The road that ascends to Kalavrita is narrow with many turns and you have to move slowly, extra care is required because landslides are frequent. The ascent to Kalavrita takes about 40 minutes. Along the way you will see the Monastery of the Great Cave.
You pass through Kalavrita and turn left at the postal service. The road to the ski resort is wider and is about 20 more minutes. There is a large parking lot at the ski resort and you will easily find a place to park your vehicle.
There is also a bus line (Ski bus) from Athens and Patras.
