Aegiali
Long sandy beach in the village of Aegiali, suitable for children, with easy access through a pedestrian street. There are also trees for shade. All around you will find cafes, bakeries, restaurants, and supermarkets.
Levrossos
A pleasant sandy beach in the bay of Aegiali with a restaurant, a cafe and rooms for rent.
Access: get the road to Tholaria and turn left after Aegialis hotel. You'll reach the parking and then follow the stairs. You can go by boat from Aegiali too.
Distance from Aegiali 2 km. The beach is connected to the local transport.
Agios Pavlos
The most distinctive beach in Amorgos is a tongue of pebbles that penetrate the sea. Enjoy its crystal blue waters!
Distance from Aegiali 5 km. The beach is connected to the local transport.
Nikouria
Large sandy beach, with some seaweed at the bottom, on the homonymous islet. Take an umbrella with you since there is no shade.
Access: by boat through Agios Pavlos beach, every half or an hour

Small Nikouria
Small sandy beach on the homonymous islet. The boat from Agios Pavlos passes from both beaches.

Maltezi
The best beach in Katapola, sandy with magnificent waters. There is a canteen with umbrellas and sunbeds.
Access: by boat through Katapola. Instead, you can follow the trail from Xylokeratidi passing through Agios Panteleimon chapel
Agia Anna
The most well known beach in Amorgos due to the film "The Big Blue", with the homonymous chapel. It's a small pebble beach with magnificent blue waters, if it's full of people, you can lie down on the rocks. There's one more neighbouring beach but the path that drives there is steep.
Access: situated below Panagia Hozoviotissa monastery. You'll see the car parking and then follow the stepped path.
Distance: from Chora 3.5 km. The beach is connected to the local transport.
Mouros
Two neighbouring small beaches with black pebbles and magnificent waters, ideal for relaxation. There's a restaurant too with a cafe.
Access: at Kamari turn left and continue till you reach the tavern's parking. You'll get to the beaches with downhill trails, for the second the trail is quite steep.

Paradisia
A magnificent sandy beach in a small bay. Located right after Agia Paraskevi chapel.
Distance: from Katapola 23 km.
Kalotaritissa
Sandy beach at the very southern end of the island. It's organized and the canteen offers some excellent local tastes. The beach has large stones inside.

Gramvousa
Excellent sandy beach on the homonymous islet, the waters are magnificent.
Access: by boat through Kalotaritissa beach.
