What to do in Vouliagmeni
1. Eat at Louizidis
A stable value in Vouliagmeni since 1961. A family run tavern that insists in home cooking all these decades and has not gone gourmet like all the rest restaurants in Vouliagmeni. Without any luxury, impressive presentations on the dishes and cheaper prices than the rest. Everything you need for stews and roasts. Try moussaka, pastitsio, gemista, lemon chicken, braised veal, veal noir and fish soup.
2. Ice cream at Bufala Gelato
A shop exclusively for ice cream. A huge variety is offered, the showcase with ice creams is from one end of the shop to the other, and many sweets that you can add on top of the ice cream. The store chain undertakes the production itself and it is not a commercial ice cream. There are so many flavours that it's really hard to choose.
3. En Plo
At the bottom of the photo is the exterior of En Plo
A large shop above the private Vouliagmeni beach. A large warm space with wood and large windows with a panoramic view of the bay. There is also an outdoor area for a better view. A shop for coffee, sweets and food every hour of the day for gourmet and more. There is a parking lot at the entrance.
4. Labros Restaurant
On the right of the photo the tables of Lambros
I count it among the musts because both of both the delicious food and the truly unbeatable location. An elegant space with an incredible view and garden. The beauty does not stop at the sight but continues in the food which is very tasty. Enjoy a multitude of delicious dishes, with the main ones being crab nests, grouper ceviche, sardines with tomato, barley with shrimp, linguine with shrimp, grilled sardine fillet, shrimp pilaf, sea bass fillet, seafood risotto, marinated anchovy and grilled sea bass. You will also find a parking lot.
5. Ithaki Restaurant
A restaurant for big wallets and one of the best in Athens. Luxurious space, romantic environment, excellent service and polite staff as befits such a shop in a privileged location overlooking the Saronic Sea, Apollon beach and Asteras, you can literally hear the waves. The best time is at sunset. The outdoor space is like a garden. The food is culinary with high standards while the combination of view and food takes you on a journey. The dishes are prepared by a distinguished chef with an excellent setting and taste.
6. Matsuhisha Athens
A restaurant for lovers of Japanese cuisine. It is located on the sea very close to the Arion Hotel of Asteras, which makes its view even more impressive. A place with nice aesthetics, a unique atmosphere and a direct view of the sunset. The dishes are nicely presented. Try the crab tempura, spinach and shrimp salad, the beef with mushrooms served in a special dish, the creme brulee with sake sauce and the nobu cheesecake. Also be sure to try the signature dish black cod.
7. Moorings
It is located in Vouliagmeni Marina where ultra-luxury yachts dock. A luxurious place for coffee, sweets, drinks and food at any time of the day with an impressive view of the sea in all directions. Fish, meat and sushi dishes are served while there is a parking lot with charge.
