Metro line 2 "Anthoupoli - Elliniko" is on the map the red line. It follows the route Peristeri - Athens center - southern suburbs to the former Hellinikon Airport.
If you want to stay in Athens city center near a Metro station, in order to easily go to the Airport or the port of Piraeus (with Metro line 3), then you should stay in Syntagma Square.
