In the wonderful Xiropigado beach
Xiropigado is a village in coastal Arcadia that wins you over with its beach, sea and nice climate. The beach alternates with rocks creating pleasant surprises. It has always been a tourist village for peaceful and family holidays, since I was a child, in the 80s, I remember it being flooded in the summer with european tourists. This stopped in the '90s but the rooms for rent remained.

Xiropigado beach
Unfortunately the beach is overrun with umbrellas, it used to be much better when it was free. At least they don't charge since you just have to drink something from the shops. There is a free beach below the pier as well as further north of the main beach where you get there by steps that climb the rocks.
The coastal street
To eat choose one of the taverns Akrogiali, Floisvos, Blue Sky, Delfini, Sunset and for drinks at Evita, all located next to the sea. For souvlaki at Cowboy (locals call him kaboi) on the main street.
The promenade next to the sea that ends at the pier is also wonderful. There is limited parking on the beach so you have to walk but anyway the distances are very short.
