Xiropigado, a small paradise in Arkadia

John KarkalatosUPDATED January 16, 2025

Xiropigado is a small village in coastal Arkadia that wins you over with its beach, the sea and its nice climate. The beach alternates with rocks creating pleasant surprises. It has always been a tourist village suitable for peaceful and family holidays, I remember it in the 80s when it was flooded with european tourists but that stopped in the 90s, but there are still many rooms to rent.

The beach is filled with umbrellas, in the past when it was free it was much better. At least they don't charge since you just have to eat something from the shops. You will find a free beach at the pier.

Evita feels like time is in the 80s. It's a bar and restaurant, one next to the other. The restaurant serves pizza, club sandwiches and salads.

There are limited parking spaces on the beach but you can find one at the end of the street.

Below is a map with the exact location. It is located 25 minutes away from Nafplio and 10 from Paralio Astros.
