The golden beach Kalogria in Stoupa, Messinia
A beach definition of golden sand at Stoupa in Messinian Mani, with turquoise waters and a verdant landscape all around. The photos speak for themselves and need no description.
However I was disappointed by the fact that it is covered from end to end with umbrellas and the bikes and slides that are parked on the sand. The worst thing is that the set of sunbeds has a minimum consumption of €50 (€25 per person) which I know is not specified in the rental contract that the state makes with the business. In order to place your umbrella only behind these. To the left of the beach there are small rocks with a sandy beach without sunbeds where people go for this little free space.
In the sea I saw that there are some eddies, don't worry about the term, these are springs that pour into the sea. Their water stands out because it does not mix with the sea as it has a different temperature and is fresh. I counted four eddies.
