Kalamitsi beach in Kardamyli
Kalamitsi beach is located between Stoupa and Kardamili, in a cove with a wonderful natural landscape surrounded by olive and cypress trees. Peaceful beach outside with pebbles and inside with sand. You will find a parking lot while there is no canteen or sunbeds. From above the road the view of the bay is a popular photo spot.
Kalamitsi is particularly known for the House of Patrick Leigh Fermor and his wife Joan which is part of the Benaki Museum. Visits to the residence take place on specific days and times, if you want to visit it you must be informed on the website of the Benaki Museum.
